Rhombic Triacontahedron Pendant
I’ve been working on another lighting concept that utilizes laser cut parts and plastic connectors that assembles into a geometric hedron. The great thing about this design is it would ship flat and is very easy to assemble. And numerous combinations of materials are easily achievable, with the light fixture in general being easily scale-able for different applications.
The first rough prototype is almost complete (top image) and about 16 inches in diameter but there is a lot of refinement and adjustments to be made from here. But I like where it is headed so far!
I had a couple of iPhone 5 backs lasercut from 1.5mm Birch plywood. I think they turned out pretty awesome.

Spindle Bracelet by EVRT Studio

Inspired by modern architecture this bracelet is an intricate build of laser cut 1/8” thick birch plywood parts held together with a strong yet flexible glue. The end result is your very own piece of architecture to wear on your wrist. Strong, lightweight & flexible. Finished with an all natural completely non-toxic Walnut oil (actually food safe) that gives it a satin sheen.
Sized at the standard of 7.5” inside diameter - should fit everyone, just slide it onto the side of your wrist at the narrowest point. 1.5” wide band and 0.25” thick. Ships in 2 - 3 days unless otherwise noted. Tracking included (except outside US - If tracking is needed outside US please add additional $11 US to your order). Comes in a nifty round box.
Spindle Bracelet in black
I think I figured out how to get the black stain to work and it looks really awesome! I’m finishing up assembly of all the bracelets now and just waiting on delivery of the labeling for the boxes, then they are ready to launch. Hopefully as soon as next week! (which is behind the original schedule)
With the sell out of the Lori Bracelet, and that being the biggest selling item in my store, I suddenly realized it is high time I get in gear and create new product! Lots of ideas flowing over here.
Above is a new bracelet (or cuff) I have been working on and this is the first prototype. I’m in the middle of testing it as well as some modifications we are making. It is looking like a pretty promising reality though, and hopefully it can be wrapped up and ready to go by the fall. And of course I’m already thinking about packaging. I happened to have this nifty little round box it fits perfectly into.
As far as other developments we are working on a wide range of ideas: new kitchen towels, possibly children’s mobiles and even lighting!

Branch & Forest Necklace
The concepts for the Branch & Forest necklaces were created during a walk through the park in the fall of 2011. The beauty of the Midwest is at its peak in both the fall and spring. The landscape begins to transform from the green hues of summer and brown hues of winter to the bold, vibrant pops of color that emerge in both fall and spring. This is the idea that we wanted to capture with the Forest and the Branch necklaces.
With this new series we also wanted to create a bolder graphic or iconic statement than what you normally find in jewelry by having an over-sized pendant at five inches wide. Laser cut wood or plastic with hand wrapped embroidery floss in multiple colors. Hangs on a sterling silver 16” chain with sterling silver lobster clasp. Comes in a nifty little box for protection.
