New video out that we made. Four Freedoms Park design by Louis Khan for Franklin D. Roosevelt. #INVADING4FREEDOMSPARK Click for YOUTUBE VIDEO.

Great Spaces TV has put together a fantastic video showing Four Freedoms Park which was Louis Kahn’s last design before he died, and was only recently completely. It looks stunning and is now on my list of places to visit next time I’m in NYC. Check out their video.

Beauty Light (working title) by EVRT

Amongst the many things I am working on at once, trying to keep the design & creativity juices flowing outside of my day job, most of what I am developing is lighting. Which is something I have always dreamed of getting into.

Here is a concept light which developed out of my love for photography and especially vintage photography equipment. Directly influenced by the folding flashes that existed long ago like the Honeywell pictured.

I’ve taken first steps in prototyping it which will ultimately be a laser cut folded metal shade in stainless steel. Next steps are to prototype the wood base.
